Autumn poems
All the leaves
are falling down
All the leaves are falling down,
Falling down, falling down,
All the leaves are falling down,
All around us.
Red and orange leaves falling
down,
Falling down, falling down,
Red and orange leaves falling
down,
All around us.
Yellow and green ones falling too,
Falling too, falling too,
Yellow and green ones falling too,
All around us.
We can put them in a pile,
In a pile, in a pile,
We can put them in a pile,
All around us.
November
November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.
With the night coming early
And the dawn coming late,
And the ice on the bucket
And the frost by the gate.
The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And Earth goes to rest
Until next spring.
